Founder of Morph

Charlie Ames - Class of 2018

Charlie Ames was placed in foster care at 2 years old and was then adopted by his foster family. He grew up his whole life being a foster brother. This is why he felt the call to start an organization dedicated to helping children in foster care at Texas A&M University. In 2017, he created Morph!

His goal was to help members grow through the act of service with local foster care organizations in the Bryan and College Station Community. With the help of his roommate, Jack Lee as the treasurer; his now fiance, Monica King as the secretary; and his friend Preston as the vice president,  they were able to accomplish Morph's goals. Together they helped fundraise, volunteer, and raise awareness for foster care and our partner organizations and non-profits that directly interacted with the foster care system. He wanted to be able to change kids' lives, and in return they transformed his.
